We aim for 100% including teachers. Although no one can deny a parent the right to claim a non-medical exemption; it carries with it a significant responsibility: not exposing others to communicable disease. Our infants and toddlers are still building their immune systems and are a particularly vulnerable community. Some children cannot be vaccinated because of medical conditions or their age and exposure to a vaccine-preventable disease could be damaging to a child's development or fatal. Part of choosing to have a small community is provide important socialization for infants and toddlers while also reducing the amount of exposure from others.
